Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how the Derosity mobile application (“Derosity,” “the app,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, and protects your information. By creating an account or using Derosity, you agree to the practices described here. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.

1. Information We Collect

• Account information. When you sign up, we collect your email address and a username. If you sign in with Google, we receive your email and basic profile identifier from Google. Passwords are handled by our authentication provider and are never stored by us in readable form.
• Usage and diagnostic data. With your consent, we collect limited information such as your account type, app version, sign-up date, and crash or error reports, so we can keep the app working and fix problems.
• Purchase information. Purchases are processed by Google Play Billing. We receive confirmation of your purchase and entitlement status, but we do not receive or store your full payment card details.
• Content you create. Artwork and project files you make are stored primarily on your own device. Only content you explicitly share is transmitted.

2. How We Use Your Information

• To create and manage your account and sign you in.
• To provide and maintain the app’s features, including paid features you are entitled to.
• To diagnose crashes and improve stability and performance.
• To verify your email address and protect accounts from abuse.
• To communicate with you about your account or important service changes.

3. How Information Is Shared

We do not sell your personal information. We share information only with service providers that help us run the app: Google Firebase (authentication and database), Google Play Billing (purchases), and Google Sign-In (if you choose it). We may also disclose information if required by law or to protect our users and the app.

4. Data Retention and Deletion

We keep your account information for as long as your account is active. You can delete your account at any time from within the app (Settings → Delete Account), which removes your account and associated cloud record.

5. Security

Data is transmitted over encrypted connections (HTTPS), and authentication tokens stored on your device are encrypted using the device’s secure key store. No method is 100% secure, but we work to protect your data.

6. Children’s Privacy

Derosity is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

7. Your Choices

You can decline optional diagnostic data collection when prompted, delete your account and data at any time, and contact us to ask what information we hold about you.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date above.

Delete Your Derosity Account & Data

You can delete your Derosity account and its associated data at any time.

Delete from inside the app

1. Open the Derosity app and sign in.
2. Go to Settings.
3. Tap Delete Account and confirm.

Can’t open the app?

Email derosityapp@gmail.com from the email address on your account and ask us to delete it. We process these requests within 30 days.

What is deleted

Deleting your account permanently removes your account, email address, username, and cloud profile record (account type, sign-up date, and any diagnostic reports) from our systems.

What is kept

Artwork and project files you saved on your own device remain on your device — they are not stored on our servers. Any copies of your record held in routine backups are overwritten within 30 days.
